Authentication and API Keys

    To use the API, you need an API key. This allows Print.one to securely verify who is sending commands.

    API key

    The API Key is a key that you include in the headers of your API requests. The header key for this is x-api-key.

    TEST API keys

    • Use a TEST key to test first

    • Orders with a TEST key are not printed or sent.

    • This way, you can safely try everything without costs.

    LIVE API keys

    • Orders with a LIVE key are printed and sent immediately.

    • Always test with a proof card to yourself first.

    Do not share your LIVE key with others, as orders cannot be reversed.

    Multiple keys

    You can create multiple API keys and name them to maintain an overview between test and live use.
